Centrifugal blasting machines are used for surface treatment (cleaning, rust removal, descaling, paint stripping) of steel plates, steel beams, as well as flame and plasma cut parts. The impact of the abrasive, which is thrown onto the workpiece at high pressure and very high speed, results in reliable cleaning. The surface of the workpieces after blasting is normally a fine-grained one and is so clean that the parts can be primed or painted immediately in the subsequent work step. It is important that the parts to be blasted are dry and not oiled. Depending on the type and purpose of the system, the continuous systems have an integrated roller conveyor system, a chain conveyor, a wire mesh or trough belt. The extraction and air filtering takes place in the same line as the radiation.
